Drawing Unknown Faces, part 78

25 Apr

I was a bit surprised to see a winter photo in this time of year, but it turned out to be taken in early March of this year. It clearly represents a woman in Winter clothing.

Drawing Unknown Faces, part 78

I was surprised that I had the basic sketch done in less than 30 minutes. However, I added some details and made the shading in the face more realistic in another 15 minutes. In that time I also added some basic background.

The mouth shape was again rather complicated, but unlike other sketches, this mouth was really good from the start, though a tad too narrow. Luckily, pencil tracings can be erased and parts of a sketch redrawn. This did, however, make the mouth shape less well defined.

That is all.
